About the project
Passepartout is a landau based photography studio. Well, actually it’s just a frame for your new photography studio’s visual identity, website and stuff. We created a visual identity to showcase our newly created product – a visual identity kit for the ambitious photographer. And filled it with life. Ok, we also do photography - so you can hit us up if you want. But more importantly - if you’re a photographer in need of a nice representation of your work, go for it! It’s available and ready for your amazing images!
Solution
The initial goal of the project was to give photographers a simple to use, budget friendly option without loosing the quality. We didn’t want to create just another website template. We wanted to create an ultra minimal, thought trough identity that felt premium on every touchpoint and still being flexible enough to not look the same for every client of the product. We archived that by stripping away everything. The identity is solely driven by a custom timeless neogrotesk typeface, black and white color with their corresponding premium materials. The imagery of the artists will come to the front, thus enabling them to drive the identity to the fullest.
With Passepartout being the name of the product we abstract the mission with the product – Our goal is to create a frame that can be used by photographers to showcase their work in the best possible way. They don’t need to care about anything else than creating amazing photos and still get a high quality visual identity.
